Whyte-Hall was originally started in 1946 principally as an importing agent of mining equipment from the United Kingdom. In 1950 the company was contracting and servicing the Government departments, Councils, Quarries and General Contractors throughout N.S.W. During this period Whyte-Hall began to look for other markets within Australia by working closely with Metalliferous Mines within Australia, it began developing specialised equipment for use underground. These products quickly found a home in many of Australia's underground Coal Mines. Whyte-Hall's name became firmly entrenched as a supplier of ground support equipment for Australia's major coal mines.
Today Whyte-Hall is firmly established as a large manufacturer of Engineering products to meet the needs of many industries. The company exports its products to Canada, Europe, England, North America, Scandinavia, The Middle East, South East Asia, New Zealand and Papua New Guinea. Many of the products Whyte-Hall now supplies have found uses in a variety of industries like Construction, Emergency Services, Petrochemical as well as Mining and many other industries alike. Whyte-Hall's products are versatile enough for use in almost any hazardous or heavy industrial environment.
Whyte-Hall's range of equipment for use in hazardous environments has been specifically designed to meet or exceed statutory and regulatory standards. These products will withstand the harshest of work environments.
Whyte-Hall manufactures a number of products specifically for the mining industry, including rotary drills for coal mines, grouting equipment for ground support applications, underground approved ventilation equipment feed beams for production jumbo's mining and rock drill spares and consumables.
VENTILATION EQUIPMENT
The company manufactures a range of small, portable compressed air driven ventilation fans suitable for a variety of applications. Specific models are approved for use in hazardous areas such as underground Coal mines.
In addition to smaller fans the company is affiliated with a number of key suppliers internationally and has the capacity to supply all ventilation requirements.
A recent addition to the ventilation product range is the companies ability to supply ventilation ducting for mining and tunneling applications. Whyte-Hall has this product produced locally within Australia.
PUMPS WATER / GROUT
This range of portable grout pumps and associated equipment developed by Whyte-Hall is widely used in the mining, construction, tunneling and road building industries. These pumps are regarded as the best available world-wide. Whyte-Hall has available a diverse range of quality Versa-Matic® Air Operated Double Diaphragm pumps, capable of solving almost any fluid processing problem.
SAFETY LIGHTING / TORCHES
Whyte-Hall's "Wolf" range of safety lighting equipment and torches are recognised world-wide and approved for use in the most hazardous of areas.
Applications include emergency services, mining, marine, oil, storage tanks etc. Approvals include: NATO, Lloyds, Australian Standards Association, Department of Mineral Resources, European Harmonised Standards, as well as approvals in the USA, Canada, South African and Scandinavia.
CUSTOM INDUSTRIAL HOSES & HEAVY DUTY INDUSTRIAL HOSE FITTINGS
Whyte-Hall will supply custom industrial vacuum, water, air, shotcrete, chemical transfer & any other specialised industrial hose to any specification. Whyte-Hall also carries an extensive range of heavy duty industrial hose fittings for almost any application.

The ongoing development and design of Whyte-Hall's products is an integral part of the business. New innovative products are being developed by Whyte-Hall for industry.
