Portable Purging Fans

General Description
The basic unit consists of a fan and optional connecting spigot and 5 metres of heavy duty flexible ducting. Fan casing is constructed from heavy gauge aluminium for lightweight durabilityThe axial flow fan is driven by a 2 pole (2880 rpm) motor rated for continuous duty.  Widely spaced feet give the fan stability in use during transport from site to site.

Safety guards (inlet and outlet) prevent accidental ingress of objects during operation.   Three heavy duty toggle clamps are fitted to both inlet and outlet sides for rapid change over from extraction to supply mode.

Options/Ancillary Products
Fans can be built to accommodate the unique needs of your customers.  Drive options include flameproof motors for extraction of hazardous gases, belt driven high performance fans and petrol driven fans (petrol 4 stroke or diesel).  Casings can be powder coated to your colour specifications or fabricated from stainless steel for use in corrosive environments.  A full range of spares and additional ducting is available ex stock.

Applications
Used extensively on sewer maintenance projects, tank inspections, wine vat cleaning, bunker purging and marine maintenance.  They are used extensively in the Hire Industry to extract welding fumes, dust, stale air and vapour in a wide range of applications.
